Luana Rutherford, PMHNP-BC

Luana is an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), licensed in both Arizona and Colorado. She brings over a decade of experience in mental health care, having worked in residential treatment centers, private practices, level-one psychiatric hospitals, and geriatric facilities. Before becoming a PMHNP, Luana served as an RN in level-one psychiatric settings since 2012 and was appointed Chief Nursing Officer of Arizona’s largest psychiatric facility in 2017.

Luana treats adults (18+) and has a special interest in supporting individuals managing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD/ADD, and addiction. She is dedicated to providing non-judgmental, compassionate psychiatric care that includes evaluations, medication management, and brief supportive therapy.

When she’s not working, Luana enjoys reading, camping, and spending time with her pack of pups—2 Rottweilers, a Frenchie, and a Yorkie!

Danielle Laughlin, MA

Danielle began her journey into the medical field in 2016, gaining valuable experience across both inpatient hospital settings and outpatient care. These experiences, combined with her personal mental health journey, have sparked a deep passion for mental health advocacy and helping others on their path to wellness.

Currently, Danielle works part-time in an Emergency Department and full-time with RutherfordPMHNP-BC PLLC. She is also pursuing a nursing degree with the goal of becoming a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Inspired by her mentor, Luana Rutherford, Danielle is motivated by the passion and positive impact Luana has had on her patients' lives.

Danielle is a proud Arizona native. Outside of work, she can often be found camping, hunting, or fishing with her husband. Coming from a small rural farming town, Danielle holds dear the values instilled in her and the importance of her roots.
